Our Story
Our team has a collective 20 years of experience in the spice industry! One of our co-owners, Ashley, runs a family business named Colonel De Gourmet Herbs & Spices, which is renowned as the most awesome spice shop in Cincinnati, OH. Another co-owner, Amber, has been part of Colonel De's for 2 years, while our Office Coordinator Peggie has been with Colonel De's for an impressive 15 years.

In early 2024, our team came up with the concept of Yummmy as a fun project after spotting a gap in the market for super cute seasonings. Many were boring or geared toward a predominately male audience. We seized the opportunity to present our vibrant idea at a pitch competition to secure a grant from Samuel Adams through their program, Brewing the American Dream. Since 2008, Brewing the American Dream has been backing local food and beverage entrepreneurs across the U.S. by providing essential access to capital, networks, and business coaching, thus fueling the craft food and beverage revolution. We submitted our pitch, got accepted, and eventually emerged as winners! From that point forward, we've been dedicated to introducing new and captivating products that will not only add charm to your pantry but also enhance the flavor of your food!
